Brick Attack
Brick Attack is my VR rendition of the classic game Atari Breakout. Created after Crop Craze, it is much simpler in scope and concept. When creating Brick Attack, I focused on learning a few new things. First, Brick Attack is built using VRIF, a framework for quickly creating complex interactions. This allowed me to get off the ground fast and incorporate more advanced interactions, such as physics-based buttons and a grabbable slider to control the paddle. I also learned how to connect to the Oculus Platform for leaderboards and achievements, giving Brick Attack some addtional depth and allowing players to compete with their friends.
